HOTEL REVIEW: Four Seasons Ritz Lisbon

For our first nights in Lisbon with Natacha, we stayed in the beautiful Four Seasons Ritz. It’s a five stars hotel & spa located a little outside the city center. Here’s everything you need to know about the hotel.

Hotel

Let’s start with the hotel in general. The Four Season is a little outside the city center which allowed them to have a lot of spaces and bigger rooms too. The hotel has a Japanese restaurant, and the normal one where you can have breakfast or brunch called Varana. The Four Seasons also has an incredible Art Collection that is decorating the beautiful living room.

The hotel has a spa (which was been renovated during our stay), and a terrace to enjoy the sun in the summer that was also been renovated.

But the best part is the fitness center. They have all the equipment, from TRX to Pilates they have everything you need. Even if you don’t want to work out you have to visit it, because it’s at the top of the hotel where you have a view on the all city.

Room

Let’s start with the most important thing: the room. First, all the rooms of the hotel have a little balcony. The room is big enough to walk around. Our bathroom was in pink marble with a bathtub and a shower, two sinks and a private room for the toilets. The shower gel and shampoos are from L’Occitane, a brand that I love very much. And the bed is just perfect! We had a king size bed that was soooo comfortable.

Breakfast

The breakfast has the option buffet or the “a la carte” menu. They make a special juice everyday, or a regular orange juice, and of course tea and coffee. The buffet is really huge and has a lot of delicious things, you can also order your eggs A la carte, everything is included except the Eggs Benedicts (my favorite obviously). But the buffet was so good, that I didn’t mind.

The restaurant also offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday, where you can find a sushi station, pasta station, ice roll station, and more.

Activities

Yes the Four Seasons has more to offer! They have a lot of Lisbon in the team and have the best recommandations for you to enjoy the city at its fullest. But my favorite thing is that they offer a very unique way to discover Lisbon: a moto sidecar tour (or 2CV if it’s raining).

The weather wasn’t on our side that day so we had a 2CV which was so much fun to discover Lisbon and learn about the culture with our guide. Perfect way to start our trip in this beautiful city.
