During my stay in Dubai, I had the opportunity to stay at the Shangri-La. We stayed there for 3 nights and I thought it would be nice to write a little review about the hotel, so it can maybe help you if you’re looking to book a hotel there.
First let’s talk about the hotel in general. As soon as we opened the door of the hotel, we felt like we were in a dream. The hotel is located on Sheikh Zayed Road, it’s one of the main road downtown, and it’s a 10 minutes drive to the Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa, and you also have the subway that is very close to the hotel. The hotel has 42 floors, which most of them has just been renovated last year. You have 3 restaurants inside, plus the buffet, a lounge bar where you can smoke indoor, 2 pools (indoor and outdoor) and of course a spa.
We got so amazed by the decoration, everything is so gorgeous and modern. And the staff is just the sweetest with you to make sure you have an amazing stay.
We had our room at the 31st floor that just got renovated last year, so it was just very nice to experience this brand new part. The room is just big enough for two people, we had a king size bed that was very comfortable, a bathroom with a bath and a shower, and closed toilets. But the best part is the view from the window, you can have a beautiful view on Burj Khalifa! And also you can close the curtains with a buttons, it really made my day as it was the first time that I saw that.
For me breakfast is a very important part for an hotel. Because if the breakfast isn’t good then you’re not entirely happy with your stay. But here it was so delicious.
First of all, the breakfast is included which is a very important part too. You have a lot of food and everything is really delicious. I tried some eggs benedicts, juices and yogurt, but you have a lot more, you can even find a noodle station.
Every hotel has its little plus and for me the Shangri-La has one of the most amazing view of Burj Khalifa. You have a lot of different spot in the hotel that are incredible for pictures, especially the little terrasse that you have at the 42nd floor, it’s just breathtaking.
You can always check my Instagram highlights if you want to see the room tour or the buffet of the hotel.
We had the most amazing stay at the Shangri-La and I recommend this hotel 100%, everything is just so stunning and everyone is doing their best to make your stay perfect.
