BEST INSTAGRAM SPOTS IN PARIS

Paris is the most touristic city in the world. So most of the time you’ll have to deal with a huge crowd of tourists if you want a good picture.

Here’s my little tricks so you don’t have to wake up at 5am but still get amazing shots for you or Instagram.

  • EIFFEL TOWER

Have you even been to Paris if you don’t get a shot with the Eiffel Tower ? I don’t think so.

📍Champs de Mars

Perfect spot for a picnic and the area is huge enough to be alone in your shot.

📍Rue Monttessuy & Rue de l’université

Rue de l’Université might be one of the most famous street on the gram when you need this Eiffel Tower shot. Be careful the street is very long and you need to go as close as you can to the Champs de Mars. Rue Monttessuy is a block away from Université and much less crowded.

📍Trocadero

My favorite area for an epic Eiffel Tower shot. You’ll have a lot of option, sitting on the edge, in the stairs, close to the fountains, etc… This place is one of the most crowded ever but if you’re a little patient you can always get your shot without people behind.

📍Pont Iena

Just after Trocadero you have the Iena bridge, just go a little on the right and you’ll see the stairs to have access to the docks. It’s always less crowded and the spot is gorgeous.

📍Avenue Camoens

Very quiet spot with a unique view of the Eiffel Tower through the trees. One of my favorite place to shoot.

📍Pont Bir Hakeim

Love the frame that the bridge add to the shot. It’s the location from the mirror scene in Inception! And just above you, you’ll see the metro (tips: take the line 6 between Bir Hakeim and Passy to get a metro shot with a view on the Eiffel Tower)

📍Restaurant Maison Blanche

A beautiful and delicious restaurant on avenue Montaigne with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. Go there in the summer to enjoy a meal with a view!

And little Bonus: avenue Iena just next to the Palais de Tokyo, you have a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower with some cute rooftops.

  • NOTRE DAME

If you want a shot at one of the most beautiful cathedrals, you’ll need to get up very early, or you can just go to the bridge 📍 Petit Pont Cardinal Lustigier or Pont Saint Michel and be patient.

Another famous view is from 📍Pont de l’Archevêché where you can see the back of the cathedral or you also have the option to go down on the dock on the side.

  • ARC OF TRIUMPH

When most of the people are taking a shot of the Arc at the Champs Elysees, just be smart and go to the other side at the 📍avenue de la Grande Armée (they have some constructions right now unfortunately)! No tourists, same view! And you can still try to take a picture with every angle of the Arc! Tourists are mostly going to Champs Elysees!

You can always take a picture on the top of the Champs Elysees but you’ll have to “wait in line” and be very careful about the cars all around you.

  • PONT ALEXANDRE III

One of the most famous bridge of Paris! If you go there, I can guaranty that you’re going to assist to a lot of wedding pictures… Well if you’re going down to the docks, you’ll be able to get a shot with the bridge easily. I don’t know why but people are always taking picture ON the bridge where you can take a picture WITH it.

  • LOUVRE

The Louvre is really crowded every time, so you’ll have to be patient. But the little trick is that the museum is closed on Tuesday, so you’ll have “less” people around and nobody at the entrance (see picture #4).

I hope you found it useful and feel free to tag your pictures with #MorgyParisTricks so I can check your posts.

Je n’avais encore jamais vu d’article comme le tien, c’est vraiment une super idée d’y avoir pensé ! Je vais pouvoir mettre ça en application dès demain !
